Tasting Note The best parcels are selected yearly to create this premium wine which stands as an illustrious ambassador of what Lebanon has to offer; with its dark purple color and cedar aromas, this is a powerful wine that will reward the patience of those who cellar it for 5 to 8 years and even more. Decant it and enjoy it with braised lamb, Moroccan Merquez tagines or even a vegetarian lentil and smoky eggplant stew.
Region: Vineyards are located in the Western Bekaa
Harvest: 100% manual in boxes, with intensive selection in the vineyards.
Vinification: Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats for 10 days. Malolactic fermentation begins spontaneously. The wine is blended then aged in French oak barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 first use, 1/3 second use) for 18 months.
